This book, produced to celebrate the club’s 125th anniversary, tells the stories of the 125 greatest players to have pulled on the famous black-and-white jumper. It recalls the deeds, careers, lives and legends of some of the Magpies’ most revered players, from the earliest days of the 1890s right through to the current day. There are also stats and rarely seen photos, all presented in a beautiful large-format hardback 464 page book. Measures to  290 x 235 mm.

MICHAEL ROBERTS is a Melbourne-based journalist and author with a particular interest in the history of Australian Rules football, having been involved with close to 20 books on the subject. He is Collingwood’s official historian, the club’s History & Archives Manager and president of the Australian Football Heritage Group. He is also a director of media and content company Media Giants. More importantly, he still has his autographed copy of Peter McKenna’s My World of Football.GLENN

GLENN McFARLANE is a senior sports reporter with the Herald Sun, and before that spent 11 years as the sports editor of the Sunday Herald Sun. The grandson of former Magpie great Charlie Dibbs, Glenn’s footy bloodlines saw him pull on the black-and-white stripes for the Collingwood Under-17s back in the 1980s. He has written the definitive biography of coaching legend Jock McHale as well as a number of other books.
