Collingwood 2025 Nike Adults Indigenous Guernsey

The Collingwood 2025 Nike Adults Indigenous Guernsey showcases a powerful story of culture, connection and Country. Designed by proud First Nations artist Lisa Thorpe, the guernsey is inspired by her artwork Wooroongi Biik (“Lore of the Land”). The design reflects a magpie’s view of pre-colonial Collingwood, the six Boonwurrung seasons, and symbolic spear shapes representing the area’s historic name, Y’alla-Birr-Ang. Magpie footprints through the centre stripe honour the journey, resilience and identity of the community.

Worn by both Collingwood’s AFL and AFLW teams during the Sir Doug Nicholls Rounds, this guernsey is a meaningful piece for supporters who want to celebrate culture with pride.

Artist Lisa Thorpe shared the significance of the design, speaking to the importance of caring for Country, honouring traditional practices, and passing knowledge to future generations.
